Upcoming Training

The Pest Management Career Training Course 

* Required training for those wishing to become licensed in New York.

* Apprenticeship training for new employees.

For new students, this course consists of classroom lectures, homework assignments and  exams.  A minimum grade of 70 and attendance at all sessions is required for passing.  Students who pass will receive a certificate which will allow them to take the state exams.

Transitions-themed New York Pest Expo helps PMPs grow in knowledge so they can soar to new heights

Bug Off Pest Control Center to present: The 2016 New York Pest Expo “Young Guns Edition”

The 2016 “Young Guns Edition” of the New York Pest Expo will showcase some of the most notable rising stars in our industry. This celebration will feature lectures by Dr. Susan Thompson on New Product Innovations, Dr. Grzegorz Buczkowski on Building a Better Mousetrap, Dr. Jamel Sandidge on The Science of Green, Dr. Freder Medina, BCE on Understanding Ant Behavior, Dr. Kurt Vandock on Zika and General Mosquito Control and Dr. Matt Frye on Fleas and Bed Bugs. The Expo, which has grown into one of the most significant events in pest management, will be presented on Veterans Day, Friday, November 11, 2016 from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. It will be held at the George Washington Bridge Doubletree Hotel in Fort Lee, NJ. This great venue will allow for free parking and special room rates. Attendees can view exhibits and discuss product features with major manufacturers and business support providers and take advantage of great promotions and discounted pricing on supplies and equipment. In addition to breakfast, lunch, gifts, prizes, recertification training, exhibits and special offers, admission will also include an open-bar reception at the end of the program. Admission is $150.00 (by October 29); late registration is $200.00 (after October 29).
