His responsibilities include providing technical and training support to the Bayer staff as well as to PMPs, public vector control agencies and food safety specialists in the US and Canada.  Mr. Barile holds a degree in Entomology from the University of Massachusetts. He has been involved pest management since 1979 holding positions with major manufacturers, as a university extension entomologist, as a pest control technician and as the technical director of a multi-branch pest control firm. Mr. Barile is a member of the Entomological Society of America, is a Board Certified Entomologist, and a member of the American Mosquito Control Association. He is also the Commission Chairman for the Bristol County (MA) Mosquito Control Project. This is Joe’s fourth presentation at the New York Pest Expo. Jeff Mc Govern
“The Pest Coach”

The Art of Exclusion
Jeff will guide us through the most important, yet neglected, aspect of long-term pest management.  Exclusion reduces the need for pesticides and devices but it also requires expertise and skill. Learn how to identify access points and what the tell-tale signs of intrusion and harborage are. The “Coach” will also offer a tour of essential exclusion tools.

Jeff McGovern is a nationally known consultant with over 48 years of experience in the pest management field. He is known as the “Pest Coach” for his vast knowledge of pests, products and procedures. His “12 Key Factors” program is in use by pest management firms worldwide. Jeff is a featured speaker at the major pest management conferences: Purdue, Maryland Interstate, The New York Pest Expo. He teaches recertification classes for pest management firms and associations across the country. His articles appear regularly in Pest Management Professional (PMP) and Pest Control Technology (PCT) magazines and he was published in The Journal of Economic Entomology in 2000. He has appeared in many training videos and has served as a voice-over talent as well. This is Jeff’s fourth appearance at the New York Pest Expo.
