We are so excited about this year’s New York Pest Expo – and so are our attendees. We have had lots of inquiries to learn more about our exhibitors and speakers. Last week we gave everyone a sneak peek into the “who’s who” of exhibitors.  We will do this again soon. Right now, we want to continue introducing everyone to some of the outstanding speakers we have lined up this year. Meet Paul Hardy who will be presenting: Termite Management: Past, Present and Future. Take a tour of the evolution of termite management through the years with one of the world’s leading termite specialists.

Paul Hardy, senior technical director of Orkin, Inc., just celebrated 50 years in the pest management business.  He is certified in termite control, pest control, lawn, fumigation, and weed control in Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, and Georgia. A world-renowned termite control expert, Hardy has authored numerous pest control articles for professional journals, is a frequent speaker at various state pest control associations throughout the United States, and has held training sessions for the State Pest Control Regulatory Commission, the EPA, the National Pest Man­agement Association, and numerous groups in industries such as construction, wood preservation, pest control manufacturers and distributors.  In addition to being a PMP Hall of Famer, Hardy has earned several industry awards, including the Pest Control Technology (PCT) 1995 Leadership Award, PCT’s 25 Most Influential People in 2000, PCT’s 2001 Professional of the Year, Bayer’s 2006 Image Maker and the 2007 NPMA Pinnacle Award. Hardy is a member of the Florida and Georgia Pest Control Associations, the National Pest Management Association, the Entomological So­ciety of America and Pi Chi Omega.
