There’s crispness in the air, the kids are back in school and we are gearing up for the 2011 New York Pest Expo being held on 11-11-11! 

We are so excited to host this amazing annual event. This year we have an incredible line-up of exciting and informative speakers and exhibitors. Today, we want to introduce you all to one of those speakers, Dean Stanbridge of Direct Line Sales. Dean will be presenting Small Fly Management. Learn how to inspect, monitor and treat these bothersome pests. Take home tips on how to achieve optimum control and improve your bottom line.

Dean is a Graduate of Fleming College’s, Environmental Pest Management Program. He is currently V.P. & Technical Director for Direct Line Sales Corp., a leading supplier of pest management products in Canada. He also owns Professional Pest Consultants, a pest management consulting firm. From 1987-2008 he was the Vice President and Technical Director for The Steritech Group Corp, Milton Ontario, Canada. He has lectured at 75 symposiums and authored 70 papers/articles. He is the “New Technology” columnist for Pest Management Professional magazine. He also authored the Fumigation Chapter for the 10th Edition of The Mallis Handbook. His research work has earned contracts with UNIDO, UNEP, and Environment Canada. He has received several worldwide awards for his work on reducing the impact on the ozone layer. Dean is a past member of the Pest Management Advisory Committee (PMAC) for Health Canada as an advisor to the Canadian Minister of Health on pesticide issues.

This is the first time Dean participates in the New York Pest Expo but he’s no stranger to Bug Off events. In 2009 Dean spoke about Technology Solutions for the PMP at the Business Leadership Cruise.
