Louis Sorkin, BCE was one of the esteemed speakers at the New York Pest Expo 2010. His presentation was, Uncommon insects rarely encountered by the PMP. Learn basic identification skills and proper handling techniques.

Louis presented slides on a variety of pest species challenging the crowd to identify them. It wasn’t as easy as you may have thought. Not everyone was aware that a female bedbug was larger than a male, for example.

The point Louis was making was to identify the species properly. In doing so, you educate the client without causing unnecessary concern and can effectively and efficiently treat the situation. Be sure to have a reference resource available when you are on the job.

It is always a pleasure to have Louis speak at the Pest Expo. Thank you Louis!
